Где бы вы ни жили: в Голландии или Соединённых Штатах, в Англии или Испании, в Израиле или Франции, в Европе, в Америке или на далёких островах в океане — эти слова я пишу для вас.

Что вы знаете об Украине сейчас? В эти дни, часы и минуты.

Что россия напала на Украину? Что прямо сейчас Украина героически борется за свою свободу и право на самоопределение? Что российские военные стирают с лица Земли украинские города и убивают мирных жителей, что ракеты и бомбы обрушиваются на жилые здания и гражданскую инфраструктуру?

Вы же это знаете? — Да, это именно так, это всё правда.

Несправедливая жестокая война против такой далёкой от вас страны. Вы сочувствуете, переживаете и помогаете нам. Вы с ужасом думаете о том, что такое может произойти в вашем доме. Что этот пожар, эта российская агрессия может прийти в ваш мир. Изменить или даже разрушить ваш обычный уклад жизни.

На самом деле эта война уже разрушает то, что и вам дорого и близко.

Посмотрите на это видео ниже. На видео — последствия ракетного удара по одному из жилых районов Киева, столицы Украины. Города, где я родился, вырос и жил до того, как переехать в Житомир.

Конечно, я бы мог выложить тут сотни видео и фото разрушений. Вы сами можете их без труда найти в интернете. Но, это авторский блог и я показываю вам всё как есть от первого лица. Это двор, где я бывал, сбегая с уроков в школе. И это видео снято другом моей юности.

What do you know about Ukraine now? These days, hours and minutes.

That russia attacked Ukraine? That right now Ukraine is heroically fighting for its freedom and the right to self-determination? That the Russian military is wiping out Ukrainian cities and killing civilians, that rockets and bombs are raining down on residential buildings and civilian infrastructure?

Do you know that? “Yes, that’s right, it’s all true.

An unjust brutal war against a country so far away from you. You sympathize, worry and help us. You think with horror that this could happen in your home. That this fire, this Russian aggression can come to your world. Change or even destroy your usual way of life.

In fact, this war is already destroying what is dear and close to you.

Look at this video below. The video shows the aftermath of a missile attack on a residential area in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The cities where I was born, grew up and lived before moving to Zhytomyr.

Of course, I could post hundreds of videos and photos of the destruction here. You can easily find them on the Internet yourself. But, this is an author's blog and I show you everything as it is from the first person. This is the yard where I used to run away from school. And this video was filmed by a friend of my youth.

Сейчас мы живём в глобальном мире. Близкое и родное — это не только то, что мы видим каждый день вокруг себя. Это и мир медиа.

Музыка и видео — универсальный язык, понятный в каждом уголке мира без слов. За последние 8 лет в Украине и в Киеве было снято более сотни музыкальных видеоклипов.  Я оставлю тут только некоторые из них.

Вы знаете эту музыку. Под неё вы радовались и плакали, рефлексировали и признавались в любви, выпивали с друзьями и пели в караоке.

Вы знаете эти видео. Но, вы не знаете, что видели на них — Киев. Этот город давно  стал частью вас, ваших образов. Он давно в вашем сердце, вы любите его, даже не зная до этого момента, что это именно он.

Прямо сейчас разрушается ваш мир тоже. Мир, связанный с чувственным и образным восприятием.

Эти видео, в большинстве своём, сняты при участие украинских студий: Limelite, Radioaktivefilm, Shelter Film и других. И если кириллица кажется вам незнакомой, то в искусстве мы говорим на одном языке и он проникает в самые глубины вашей души.

Now we live in a global world. Close and dear is not only what we see every day around us. This is the world of media.

Music and video is a universal language, understood in every corner of the world without words. Over the past 8 years, more than a hundred music videos have been filmed in Ukraine and Kyiv. I will leave here only a few of them.

You know this music. Under it, you rejoiced and cried, reflected and confessed your love, drank with friends and sang karaoke.

You know these videos. But, you do not know what you saw on them - Kyiv. This city has long become a part of you, your images. He has been in your heart for a long time, you love him, even without knowing until this moment that it was he.

Right now your world is being destroyed too. The world associated with sensory and figurative perception.

These videos, for the most part, were shot with the participation of Ukrainian studios: Limelite, Radioaktivefilm, Shelter Film and others. And if the Cyrillic alphabet seems unfamiliar to you, then in art we speak the same language and it penetrates into the very depths of your soul.

Бельгийцы и французы. Это видео, эта проникновенная история Stromae снята в Киеве. Ровно такие же простые люди сейчас не знают, что их ждёт завтра на этой войне.

Belgians and French. This video, this heartfelt story of Stromae, was filmed in Kyiv. Exactly the same ordinary people now do not know what awaits them tomorrow in this war.

Belges et Français. Cette vidéo, cette histoire sincère de Stromae, a été tournée à Kiev. Exactement les mêmes gens ordinaires aujourd'hui ne savent pas ce qui les attend demain dans cette guerre.

Под этот трек MEDUZA и Goodboys танцевала половина людей в мире. Он снят в Киеве. Теперь тут рвутся ракеты и бомбы, умирают влюблённые, дети и каждое из зданий под прицелом.

Half the people in the world danced to this track by MEDUZA and Goodboys. It was filmed in Kyiv. Now rockets and bombs are exploding here, lovers are dying, children are dying, and each of the buildings is under attack.

 

Люди Испании. Это видео ROSALÍA снято в Киеве. Сейчас тут нет крутых и беззаботных покатушек на мотоциклах, сейчас тут смерть и полный пиздец.

People of Spain. This ROSALÍA video was filmed in Kyiv. Now there are no cool and carefree rides on motorcycles, now there is death and complete fucked up.

Pueblo de España. Este video de ROSALÍA fue filmado en Kiev. Ahora no hay paseos geniales y despreocupados en motos, ahora hay muerte y jodido completo.
 

Люди Израиля. Это видео Noga Erez снято в Киеве. Возможно, этого здания уже скоро не будет. Вы поймёте меня, как никто другой.

Люди Франции. Это видео OrelSan снято в Киеве. Я не знаю, в каком подвале сейчас прячется от войны этот мальчик, герой клипа. People of France. 

This OrelSan video was filmed in Kyiv. I don't know in which basement this boy, the hero of the video, is hiding from the war.

Люди Дании. Это видео MØ снято в Киеве. Парни и девушки из этого видео больше не живут привычной жизнью. Каждый из них в опасности, нет никаких рабочих и учебных будней. 

People of Denmark. This MØ video was filmed in Kyiv. The boys and girls in this video are no longer living their normal lives. Each of them is in danger, there are no working and school days.

Danmarks folk. Denne MØ-video blev optaget i Kiev. Drengene og pigerne i denne video lever ikke længere deres normale liv. Hver af dem er i fare, der er ingen arbejds- og skoledage.

Я бы мог продолжать эту публикацию бесконечно. Огромная часть часть мировых хитов сопровождается видеорядом из Киева и Украины.

В эти дни фаза войны в Украине сменилась. К обстрелам и бомбардировках жилых зон добавились и зверства российских военных, совершаемые ими в отношении мирных жителей. Город Мариуполь в буквальном смысле стёрт с лица Земли. Никто не может себя чувствовать в безопасности в любом уголке моей страны.

Но, мы защищаем не только свою страну и своих людей от уничтожения. Не только свободу, как таковую. Это и то, что вы успели полюбить даже не подозревая, что это Украина.

Враг готовился к вторжению восемь долгих лет. Не смотря на это, мы обязательно победим. Мы уже побеждаем, выдержав наступление многократно превосходящего противника.

Украина очень ценит поддержку каждого из вас. Но нам нужна и большая поддержка ваших правительств: серьёзное вооружение и закрытое небо над Украиной. Закрытое небо, чтобы враг не мог безнаказанно уничтожать всё то, что вы смотрели на видео. Всё, что вы заочно полюбили и что стало частью вашего мира также.

Нас не сломать. Верьте в нас. Нам нужна ваша помощь, чтобы победить и жить в мире. Мы с вами — одно целое. Наш Мир — одно целое.

Последним я хочу оставить видео, британцев Mumford & Sons, таже снятое в Украине. В этом видео вы можете увидеть характер и дух украинцев. И это действительно так.

I could continue this post indefinitely. A huge part of the world hits is accompanied by a video sequence from Kyiv and Ukraine.

These days the phase of the war in Ukraine has changed. The atrocities committed by the Russian military against civilians have been added to the shelling and bombing of residential areas. The city of Mariupol is literally wiped off the face of the Earth. No one can feel safe anywhere in my country.


But, we are protecting not only our country and our people from destruction. Not only freedom as such. This and what you managed to fall in love without even suspecting that this is Ukraine.

The enemy has been preparing for an invasion for eight long years. Despite this, we will definitely win. We are already winning, having withstood the offensive of a many times superior enemy.

Ukraine greatly appreciates the support of each of you. But we also need more support from your governments: serious weapons and closed skies over Ukraine. A closed sky so that the enemy could not destroy everything that you watched on the video with impunity. Everything that you loved in absentia and that has become part of your world as well.

Don't break us. Believe in us. We need your help to win and live in peace. You and I are one. Our World is one whole.

The last one I want to leave is a video by the British Mumford & Sons, also filmed in Ukraine. In this video you can see the character and spirit of Ukrainians. And it really is.
